It was great to re-visit this blog...can't believe it's already been a full year since my last post.
I'm remembering the progress that I made in Mendocino, and my passion & drive to paint.
Nothing much has changed since then, except that my drive is more towards web design & motion graphics.
I realized that I don't want to rely on painting to make money, because I don't want commerce to influence my art.
There is a purity in creating stimulating, engaging designs & animation to promote goods & services for various businesses & corporations. There is an honesty inherent in the transaction...everything is very much above board, and that's refreshing to me. I'm excited about the possibilities that AfterEffects offers...and since I just got my hands on CS4 & a subscription to lynda.com...and 18 units in web design coming up...the future is wide open.
